Laraine Petersen

Laraine is a Research Director at Oak Hill Partners. She has 25 years of experience in the executive search industry. She has worked on over 250 searches in almost every industry mostly at the C-level with a completion rate of 95%.

Some of these industries include Consumer Products, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Retail, Medical Devices, Publishing, Legal, Insurance, Environmental, and Board of Directors.

She started her career in executive search with The Stevenson Group in West Hartford, Connecticut. She held positions as Researcher, Account Executive, and Senior Account Executive over a twelve year time frame.

During that time, she was instrumental in developing a new practice area in the Hartford office, expanding The Stevenson Group services to include human resources organization and management development. She joined Oak Hill Partners in 2005 and works exclusively on Human Resources.

She works closely with Dave Arnold in client services including search strategy and development, research and networking, sourcing, candidate development, qualifying, candidate referencing, project analysis, client management, and negotiations.

She has worked with companies that have included Adidas, American Express, Cablevision, GlaxoSmithKline, Moen, The New York Times, Paychex, Pernod Ricard, Pfizer, Rexel, Timex and Yoplait before joining Oak Hill Partners.

She holds both undergraduate (with honors) and graduate degrees from Sacred Heart University. She resides in Fairfield, Connecticut.
