Paul Connolly
Paul is an expert in the field of executive assessments, leadership development, survey design, organizational assessments, and 360 degree feedback surveys. He has extensive training in psychometrics.
He works with Dave Arnold in the executive assessment area and has developed with Dave a “Human Resources Profile” using the Hogan Leadership series of assessments. Dave and Paul have brought together their practical and academic backgrounds and their experiences with CEOs, Heads of HR, and prominent executive assessment companies, to pinpoint those traits that are the most critical to the effectiveness and stature of the HR function.
Paul is also President of his own company Performance Programs Inc. www.performanceprograms.com that he founded over 20 years ago. His company has provided executive assessments, workplace surveys, and personality tests to over 70 Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of smaller organizations.
He is the author or coauthor of seven books and dozens of articles in his field. He is one of a handful of authorized distributors and trainers for Hogan Assessments. Paul has developed surveys with well known performance psychologist Dr Jim Loehr, executive coach Dr. Wendy Alfus-Rothman, Bob Kaplan, and Rob Kaiser of the management consulting firm, Kaplan-Devries Inc., keynote speaker Claudia Shelton, and leadership development expert Dr. Ginny Whitelaw.
Paul is a licensed psychologist and member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the Metropolitan New York Association for Applied Psychology. He did his undergraduate work at Holy Cross, and his graduate work at Fordham where he received his Ph.D in general psychology.
His dissertation concerned selection of nuclear power plant operators.
